As
information emerges about the long term effects of depleted
uranium on the Earth and on the human body, one wonders what
the result will be when the world -- the Muslim community in
particular -- begins to consider what our pounding of the holy
city of Najaf, and all the other Iraqi cities we have scarred,
will mean to future generations. Some experts believe
that even if we were to end
the war today, the carnage here and there will go
on for a long, long time... even long after you and
I have left this place.
The Pentagon
denies DU weapons are a danger and the World Health
Organization appears to side with the Pentagon. Do your
own research and act according to your conscience. Is it
even possible to be a responsible citizen anymore when
governments lie and cheat on a regular basis? I don't
know, but we still try... don't we? Don't we?

in cities in 2003, bombing and destroying water supplies, infrastructure and agricultural land. The

tell their citizens why they have some of the highest radiation related illnesses in the Middle East - their
own nuclear program, downwind from French nuclear testing in the southern Sahara, and downwind from DU
